This Department was established at SGR in 1987 with intake of 60. The branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity, especially the design and application of circuitry and equipment for power generation and distribution, machine control and communication. Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control system and/or components to required specification, focusing on economy, safety and reliability. The Department of Electrical Engineering is having all modern and updated facilities. The department has fully equipped electrical machine lab having panels, different types of AC/DC Motor, Generator set, Single Phase Transformer and Three Phase Transformer for conducting various experiments.
