This Department was established at SGR in 1987 with intake of 60. The Department of Computer Engineering has good infrastructure of air-conditioned computer labs with latest generation of computers. Computers are now used in practically every area of human endeavor. Computer engineering is highly invocative branch and covers major area of software, hardware, networking, network security and languages concept. In this contemporary era, the computers are playing very vital role. The field of computer Engg. is very wide. It describes the basic needs of other Engg. Industries or fields. This field of engineering not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also how they integrate into the larger picture. The campus is fully Wi-Fi having 3 mbps speed, more than 100 computers are on network. The computer Engineering Department has established the following modern Laboratories.
